The palate is warm and velvety with notes of yellow peach and dried fruit and a balance supported by a light savory trail on the finish

There is no doubt that Montacchiello is a great white wine. The pure essence of Grechetto without superstructure or sophistication. It is simply the fermented nectar that comes out of well-ripened grapes from a small, well-exposed vineyard plot. A bulwark against all the diminutive suffixes that have always relegated this territorial grape variety to the minor leagues of world wine

The almost golden color might make you think of a white spent in barrique, but you only have to put your nose in the glass to realize that this grechetto sees no wood at all. The intense hue comes from grapes picked slightly overripe, and this choice, of course, we find in the glass where the wine is aromatically complex thanks to intense sensations of acacia, nectarine, herbs and mineral cues. On the sip, expect a rock wine, structured but with great balance and supported by lively citric acidity

Territorial white, relentless and as voluminous a manifesto of the greatness made wine and the “dumb” potential of central Italian whites. Pure Grechetto that to the eye shows a mystical and refined gold, medium in its glitter, as if it almost wanted to put itself on the last stand. Then he raises his hand, asks to intervene: enchanting nose, sinuous and fine spiral that from the notes of ripe fruit and almond, recalls the saline and smoky aspect, pulpy and romantic, austere and rigorous. The palate is caressing, transformation of the olfactory aspect into a punch of flowers and salt, musk and candied citrus. Vasco is on the radio, they give Standig ovation.
